If the PROMON U750 camera is not detected by AOS Imaging Studio v4, you might follow this guide to tackle some of the major problems to get your camera work;


a: Camera not connected
b: Connected to USB 2.0 Port
c: Driver issue
d: USB 3.0 Speed not sufficient
e: Unsupported USB 3.0 Chipset

f: Outdated USB 3.0 Driver


a: Camera connected, ensure the screws of the USB MicroB connector Camera side are locked tight

b: Check if camera is connected to a USB 3.0 (usually blue connector) Port

c: Problem: wrong or no Driver

In case you had installed another USB 3.0 Compliant camera to the PC System in the past, the system might use a different driver than the AOS one, in this case follow the instructions below:

  • Go to windows device manager
  • Search for USB3 Vision compliant camera 
    It’s either in the main tree or under Imaging devices:
    Once you found the camera
  • Double click the camera
  • Switch to driver tab
  • Update driver
  • Browse my computer for driver software
  • Let me pick from a list of drivers…
  • Choose the “USB3 Vision device”

 

  • Click next and close the window
    You should now see this:

·       Your camera is now ready for use.

If no driver is installed, please start the installed eBUS Driver Installation Tool

And check if the USB Vision Driver is installed or not:



If not, please install the Driver


d: USB 3.0  not fast enough

  • close AOS IS V4 and open eBus Player, you will receive an information in case you bandwidth is not sufficient.

e: Unsufficiant PC System

f: Check the installed on your system, especially all USB related (Chipset).
    Best is, check your PC Vendors support side and download the latest Drivers for your system. Or in case of an Intel chipset, the            right driver on the intel Website.
